Information for Parents
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We understand that you prioritize the safety of your children online. Really? We also. Safety of the kid is not a checkbox we check off every time we go over it again its something we carry with us everyday. This page is solely to ensure you receive reliable information about our platform and the factors pertinent to you as a parent.
Did you have any questions that we didn't go over here? We can help you. Text us to hello.kridaah@gmail.com and we will reply.
So, What is KRIDAAH?
KRIDAAH is like a website where people can play game in their web browser. Action games, puzzle games, strategy games, adventure games, you can think of it, and we probably have something like it. Imagine a giant arcade that's in your browser.
The site is designed for individuals aged 16 or above. We know it's more fun for the younger kids to play but we made it for teenagers and adults.
Here's the best part it's all free to play. How do we earn money? Via ads. That's why we can keep the lights on and all the games free. Your kid can start playing right away without creating an account, but creating an account allow them to save and access there game and to keep up there favorite games.
How You Keep Your Child Safe?
We could do all the work our side but honestly? Home's the safest. So here's what we think truly helps:
- 1
Verify age suitability: KRIDAAH creators to individuals aged 16 and older. If your child is under that age, then you want to find a platform thats made for there age. We're not saying the younger kids can't have fun gaming - we just saying we built this for the older user.
- 2
Your private info remains private: This is a significant point. And you should also make sure your kid knows never to give out that type of information, such as their real name, address, phone number, email address, school, or any other info that could identify them The internet is a big place, and sharing that info is like leaving your house key under the doormat - just don't do it.
- 3
Passwords are important: If your kid wants to have an account, help them choose a strong password. Not password123 or their birthday something actually safe. And of course they shouldn't tell any of their friends. Also, Help them to pick out username that will not give away their Identity or get them into trouble.
- 4
Keep the conversation going: What's the best thing you can do? Ensure your child understands they can approach you if an online situation causes discomfort. If its an ad that just doesnt sit right, a comment that seems off, its just a feeling, they should know they can come to you to talk about it Don't panic if they bring you something. Just listen and help them out and tell them what to do.
- 5
Be honest about your age: We know it's hard for kids to say there older then what there supposed to be but there is a reason why there age limits. If they get asked how old they are they should tell the truth. This regulations to help us show the good things to the good people.
What Are We Doing On Our End?
We not just sitting around wishing that everything is goin to be okay. This is what we really do to try to keep it safe:
We really do take a look at stuff before they go live on our site! We are not perfect and we sometimes miss things but we do our best to make sure that our stuff is good and its right for who we are making it for.
We have rules: Our community rules are pretty simple: don't be a jerk, don't post a bunch of trash stuff, respect other people. Were not gonna let you post stuff that is rude, mean and even dangerous. Violate them, you are out.
We got good developers We work with the best developers and they know our standards. We tell them to use the language filter and keep it clean. They are always perfect? No. But we try to work with people that make safe content.
We look at the platform all the time. If someone tells us about it or we see that there is a problem we go look at it and do something about it. That can be delete some thing, warn the person, or even banning people in the worst case scenario.
Will My Child End Up Spending Money?
Great news for all of you, all games on KRIDAAH are free. We make money off ads no need to pay to play any games.
Now, here's the thing: Maybe they need to unlock other levels, they need to unlock something special, or just to get rid of the ads. We don't have any control over that it's between the game developer and the player. Our? Adjust your device's settings and enforce restrictions on in-app purchases if you prefer to prevent your child from making unintended transactions. Majority of phones and tablets have parental controls that can stop you from buying things without your password.
What If My Kid Sees a Bad Ad?
We work with ad company's and try to make sure the ads they show us are right for our audience. But lets be honest, every once in a while an add just pops up that shouldn't be there. It does happen and when it does happen, we want to know about it.
When your child (or you) see an ad that they think it's inappropriate don't just pass it over. Screenshot it, let us know what game or page they were on and e-mail us. What was wrong with it tell us. We'll try to see if we can get it removed and work with our ad partners. The more information you give us the quicker we can fix it.
Are You Collecting My Child's Personal Information?
That's probably one of your biggest worries and it should be. We've written down everything about what data we collect in our privacy policy - go check it out if you want the breakdown.
The abbreviated form? We don't ask kids for info when they are just playing games. But if your kid did make an account or send us something then they must have gave us some info. If you are worried about what we can have or if you want to see what we have on file just email us.
Here's the important part: we will verify that you are actually the parent or guardian before we tell you anything. Just to keep your child safe. So when you email us you need to put your email and phone number so we can contact you. We will call you and make sure it's you then we can talk about the info/spam we have.
Still Have Questions?
Look, We know you most likely got so many questions. What you don't get? Or just see something that make you worried about. Call. Were the parents too (some of us we know how your kid is important to you and we want to make sure your okay with your kid being on our site).
